I like your drawing style, and I like the concept, but seriously, so far you’ve done nothing more than draw a random person with words from stupid customers alongside them. Maybe you could improve this by, say, having them imagining what their thoughts might entail. Such as for this one, he could have a thought bubble implying that he views Windows as Satan. Also, he should be on the phone, and in front of a computer, since this is what happens in the original dialogue. I’m certain this idea could be epic if you actually added to the concept, instead of just doodling out what you imagine the customer to look like.
Looking forward to seeing your art next week, but definitely hoping it will actually have something interesting about it.
Thank you for checking us out! I appreciate your comments and make use of them, and the other feedback in the coming weeks and months. The concept originally was to draw upon my experiences in retail and occasionally use stories sent in by readers. Since then the inspiration has changed out of my personal experience to the experiences of others. I expect that the comics will be changing to draw upon more of the details in the cool stories posted on Not Always Right. This is a new way that we’re doing this comic and so I would ask your patience as we get used to the new format and hope that you’ll come back to see how it evolves.
